People solutions powered by behavioural science

About me

With over 20 years of experience in assessment, selection and organisational development, I launched behaviourself in 2024 to revolutionise talent management through behavioral science.

At behaviourself, I focus on understanding human behavior at work to improve people processes and support people development. By exploring the 'art of getting along' and addressing unconscious biases, I help organisations ensure fair treatment and equitable decision-making. This approach is key to creating a culture where everyone can thrive and feel valued. At behaviourself, I believe that understanding how we behave—ourselves and others—leads to a happier, more productive, and inclusive workplace, making work life not just efficient but also more enjoyable!

How I can support your organisation

Claudia McDonald-Bruce - Director, Glasgow and Clyde Rape Crisis

“Carolyn has many exceptionally unique and well-tested qualities, that allow her to undertake a facilitative or investigatory role, in areas that require discretion, complexity, risk, or challenge.  Beyond this, however, she brings a very personable, kind, and relatable approach which means she builds trust and connection with ease.  She is incredibly skilled in ensuring all participants feel understood, important to the conversation or challenge at hand, and reaching the goal or outcome desired.

I would recommend Carolyn to anyone who is looking for specific expertise to grapple with an issue or seek new insight into an area feeling tricky or complex; especially those who prefer to have that support from someone who feels like one of the team, and on ‘your’ side too.”
